Shedding light in the Rabbit Hole
A conversation starter, a keepsake for observations, ideas, inspirations, memes, metaphors & tales, whisperings on learning, on different (critical) literacies, on revolutionizing education, on sustainable development, on societal life and critical social research, on "futures", on worldviews, on change & transformations, on diversity, social justice and emanicipations, on all the subjects that fascinate me, on beautiful things: books I love/read/want to read: stories that take me away, on music, poetry and art.

My attempt to look for meaningful (yet at first look 'far fetched') patterns? Or just simple my way of shining some light in the rabbit hole. But most important an attempt to connect with other souls who are enjoying the fall down the rabbit hole as well...

I love stories (fairy tales & surrealism) and since life is all about weaving stories together: I love to connect with others and their stories
I love to learn something new everyday!
I love photography & spend a lot of time looking at things through a camera lens.
I like connecting with “strangers” (we are all strangers), I love to be part of great (unconventional & awkward conversations (like in great surreal novels and cult house movies)
I experience the ordinary (sometimes “killing me softly” boring reality) and transform it in extraordinary ways…Our imagination is such a powerful thing.
I am an amateur poet: I love to play with words: language is my playground: I make love to metaphors!
I have an insatiable curiosity, everyday is like dwelling in Wonderland.
I realize that we are all connected, and try to connect with others in meaningful ways. All encounters are learning experiences and all life is somehow connected to each other in a big transcended ecosystem.
I love to travel, both physically as by imagining and dreaming. “Sustainable Future places”, “unforgettable pasts” and “what if’s” are favorite destinations. If you can imagine it, you can experience it. And since traveling physically takes time and money, I travel more often in my imagination.
I can be called an “eternal student”. Lifelong learning is both a means as an end in my life journey. Learning and eagerness to always learn something new energizes me and this shapes and inspires my daily path and encounters.
in terms of a career: I have a background in Sociology and Communication sciences. I’m a policy advisor in education planning (thinking big, seeing connections), a teacher in higher education (discovering the art of teaching, being aware that students and teachers are interchangeable: two faces of the same coin), a “critical” social researcher and a dreamer taking responsibility for making dreams become reality in harmony with that big ecosystem.
This blog is born out of curiosity, the love for learning and the passion to connect with others. It is an enjoyable experiment, where I write, reflect on interesting subjects and connect.
